capsoul is a private journaling application for iOS, developed by aeon.inc. We provide voice and text entry capture, AI-generated summaries, and an optional broadcast feature for sharing entries with chosen followers. The service is provided as-is and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Your device key and encryption private key are generated locally on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your device and any backups. We have no ability to recover lost encryption keys or decrypt your data. Loss of your private key means permanent loss of access to your encrypted entries.

capsoul is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, data integrity, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of capsoul, including but not limited to loss of data. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amounts you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to capsoul for violations of these terms, without notice. You may stop using capsoul at any time. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data per the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
